Women also face the burden of the “Pink Tax,” paying up to 50% more for similar hygiene products compared to men. Over a lifetime, this adds up to an extra $188,000 in expenses—an unjust reality that makes basic self-care inaccessible for many.
Project Beauty Share: Restoring Dignity Through Giving
Since its founding in 2010, Project Beauty Share has distributed over 54,000 pounds of hygiene and beauty products—valued at $1.86 million—to those in need. In 2023 alone, over 65,000 individuals benefited from these donations, including single mothers and underserved communities. But the demand continues to grow, and more support is essential.
