last weekend took me back to August 20, 2023, The Evening en Blanc fundraiser was buzzing with energy as people came together to support a cause dear to us all. the air was filled with anticipation and hope, knowing that every contribution would have a ripple effect, touching the lives of women in need and making our world a better place.
but it wasn't until I had the chance last weekend to give the once-in-a-lifetime experience to the winning bidder that had true impact of our efforts hit me! seeing the joy and gratitude on Jason Bourriague’s face as he realized he was about to embark on an unforgettable journey was an indescribable feeling. in that moment, I knew that we were not just raising funds; we were creating moments of happiness and empowerment for those who needed it most.
the experience itself was magical – a chance to escape the everyday challenges and immerse oneself in something truly extraordinary. and knowing, that it was made possible through the generosity of others made it even more meaningful.
